Musto Painting provides construction and general contracting services for commercial, residential and industrial projects. We meet the needs of clients looking to remodel, reconstruct and completely build out new spaces from scratch and clients looking to perform renovations that don’t require structural changes. With the expansion of our construction and GC portfolio, Musto Painting has introduced our subsidiary company Musto Construction, a new brand that focuses solely on design, build and construction management from start to finish for small- to large-scale remodeling and renovation projects. Unlike other construction companies and general contractors who subcontract all their work and only oversee construction job operations and processes, Musto Construction keeps majority of the work in-house utilizing our very own field trade workers who specialize in various construction trades. If outside subcontractors are needed, we have our own vetted and preferred subcontractors we can assign to projects and coordinate on the job.

Our Construction Management Process

At the start of every project, we begin the pre-construction phase by meeting with you and discussing your vision, goals and budget for the project. We can also review blueprints if they are available, as well as work with architects acquired by our client or one referred by us. Once a concept and budget is established, we will assign our team members to the job and make contact with material suppliers to provide a project cost estimate for the desired work. Additionally, we lay out a plan for timeline, material selection and sourcing, logistics and project phasing. If project design is required, we will work with our dedicated designer to provide conceptual ideas with recommendations on space structure and layout and stylize with proposed materials, furnishings, fixtures and appliances.

During the construction phase, we handle permitting and ensure plans are in alignment with local township regulations, restrictions and code. We will take care of inspection scheduling and attend all on-site inspections. On the job site, we maintain detailed scheduling of activities and allocate material, workers and resources to project tasks. To ensure a smooth project timeline, we make sure material is delivered on-time and as expected per the project schedule and our trade workers and installation teams are conducting project activities in proper sequence. Throughout the work day, our foreman and team managers oversee jobsite activities and guarantee continuous communication between all of our field workers. We also keep strong communication with our clients by providing frequent progress updates as well as status on timing and budget. Additionally, our team of highly-trained, skilled professionals understands the importance of maintaining an organized working environment and safety on every job.
